Former President of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak died in Cairo military hospital on Tuesday (2/25/2020). He died at the age of 91, after undergoing surgery at the end of January.
Quoted from Aljazeera.com, the death of Hosni Mubarak has been confirmed by General Mounir Thabet.
Thabeb explained to the Egyptian news agency, Mobarak died at Cairo’s El Galaa Sakir House after undergoing postoperative intensive care.
However, he did not explain in detail about the medical history that Mubarak traveled.
Meanwhile, through Alaa Mubarak’s Twitter, the child stated “Indeed, for” Our God belongs and our God will return. “My father Hosni Mubarak died this morning.”
Hosni Mubarak served as President of Egypt from 1981 to 2011. He was sentenced to prison after being found guilty of failing to cancel the massacre of thousands of anti-government demonstrators.
Since his arrest in April 2011, Mubarak has spent nearly six years in prison at the hospital. After being released, he was taken to an apartment in the Heliopolis district of Cairo.
He left a wife Suzanne Mubarak, two children Gamal Mubarak and Alaa Mubarak, and four grandchildren.
